My husband and I stayed at Tropical Manor House for three nights on our honeymoon, where we experienced a quiet, relaxing stay with all the right amounts of pampering. Christina and Robert were very welcoming and accomodating, even giving us a tour of the area so we would know how to get from Los Ayala to Rincon de Guayabitos to La Penita. They showed us some of their favorite stores and restaurants, which was really helpful! The accomodations were clean, comfortable, and new. The air conditioning actually worked really well (some places we stayed it didn't), which is a necessity in the summer months. Though you're at a B&B, it's still very private. There are numerous patios to relax on and the breakfasts were absolutely delicious. Christina and Robert provide anything you could need and more, which made our stay personal and memorable. No detail is overlooked. We spent a lot of time in the pool (it's called a plunge pool be we thought it seemed bigger) and the ocean at Los Ayala is great for swimming as well. We enjoyed massages and the use of their boogie boards and snorkeling gear. We would absolutely recommend staying at Tropical Manor House. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

We loved this vacation! Pampered by Christina and Robert, fed the most sumptious yet healthy breakfasts on a patio overlooking Los Ayala village, suggestions for what to do/see/eat and where, relaxing by the plunge pool (ahh!) with a delicious Pina Colada, waking to the charming sounds of this quaint village tucked away from it all, relaxing in the beautiful and comfortable suite at night, reading on any of the 4 patio/terraces or the lovely living room, or hanging out under a palapa hut at a restaurant on the beach, taking in the real Mexico by wandering the village, beach, and trails to hidden beaches, catching the delightful collectivo bus to Guayabitos (5 mins by bus), dining on the beaches of either Los Ayala (Pikikos is great!), Guayabitos or La Penita, finding incredible bargains with local vendors or at the Thursday market in La Penita, and all the while feeling like a pampered friend of Christina and Robert's, treated to their wonderful hospitality and comfort every step of the way, it was just a terrific vacation! We highly recommend a stay at Tropical Manor House in Los Ayala to anyone who is wanting to see the real Mexico in the Nayarit area, who are mobile and independant wanderers, who prefer guiding hands to ease their way and create a wonderful experience for your stay in Mexico. From the terrific dining suggestions, the knowledge of the local area and customs, the friendly and accomodating assistance in seeing the area and arranging tours, to the beautiful comfort of their home, Christina and Robert have gone way above and beyond to make your stay with them memorable. Muchos, gracias, amigos! Nos vamos retourne a Los Ayala!

My husband and I were the very first guests at Robert and Christina's B&B in Los Ayala. The accommodations were first rate, the hosts charming and hospitable, and we had a very lovely time with them and at their B&B. The bedroom is spacious, there is a patio off the room, and the entire floor is available for the use of the guests. Other nice features are a balcony and an other terrace with a dipping pool. We spent a great deal of time there relaxing. The hosts provide a fantastic breakfast, and an afternoon cocktail. They are very involved in the local scene, and can help with suggestions. They know a very good masseuse that we recommend. We highly recommend this accommodation and feel it is a very good value for the money.

We just returned home from a wonderful vacation in Mexico which included 8 days with Christina & Robert. We enjoyed the stay very much even though we experienced two days of rain and cloudy weather. However, the temperatures remained quite warm so we could still walk about and enjoy the beaches. Their B&B was just what we had hoped for,it was very comfortable and quiet, and we were made to feel at home the entire time. The breakfasts were fantastic and the afternoon cocktails really hit the spot after a day at the beach. The view from the patio by the pool is superb and several times we just spent time on the soft lounge chairs reading our books. Los Ayala is a charming small village with friendly citizens and no concerns for personal safety as we walked about. The walk to the beach on the dirt roads was a bit challenging after the rains so all weather foot wear and/or transportation down the hill was offered by our hosts. In fact they were most kind in that respect by giving us rides to the neighbouring town on occasion. Most of the time sandals or flip flops for walking were just fine. We were pleasantly surprised by the Star Choice TV option and so were able to keep up with news from home. All in all we had a great time and would recommend the Tropical Manor House to anyone who is looking for a quiet vacation away from the hustle and bustle of cities and traffic.
